Maybe you are new to the city or maybe you are just looking for a specific new service to add to your Palm or Blackberry, this site was created to provide specific recommendations, reasons and referrals for each of the offered services. A regular blog will keep you updated with feedback and new sources for various services.

about Peggy I am a sales and sales management executive in New York focused on optimizing organizational productivity with my clients as they use the services my company offers. I started thinking about my own productivity - the personal time and money involved in finding and using the numerous 'personal' services I need here in the city. Most importantly, I want the most value for my money as we all do. I will only use outstanding services on a regular basis and those that I would be comfortable referring to others. But then every time someone moves on or the need for a new service comes up, I end up starting the process all over again. It can be costly and time-consuming until I find what I want and I hate wasting money! Lists from other sources can be fine, but I want to know WHY people think someone is good.

How do I make money? My goal here is for this to be easy for both you and the service establishments I am recommending. If you like my reasons for using a certain business, then simply download the appropriate certificate offering an introductory discount to their services for the first time you try them. These will be collected by them and they will then pay me a pre-negotiated referral fee for everyone who submits the certificate. (Many doctors and lawyers won't offer this, but tell them I sent you anyway!) Revenue Streams are also created with other sites like Amazon.com (as an example) if you click there to purchase a Guidebook or Resource Directory. Advertising opportunities will soon be available as well! Please note that I pay full price for these services and the only revenue exchange happens with the collection of the certificates. This helps minimize a company's advertising budget - they only pay for new customers who actually walk in the door. It's more economical for them and ultimately us as the consumers!
